The new Seaworld Observatory is a state-of-the-art semi-submarine developed for comfort and maximum viewing in the shallow reefs. The vessel does not submerge. You descend into the hull of this cruising underwater observatory and sit in air-conditioned comfort five feet below the surface of the water. As you explore you’ll see an abundance of marine life through large, clear windows. Seaworld Observatory departs from the dock right by the cruise ship dock in downtown George Town. The first site you visit is a dramatic shipwreck, the Cali, a steel schooner built in 1900. This ship ran aground 100 yards off the coast of Grand Cayman in 1944.

From here, your Captain takes you to Cheeseburger Reef. Be sure to have your cameras ready when our diver enters the water and begins to feed the hundreds of multicolored tropical fish right in front of your window. A knowledgeable marine expert will provide answers to your questions and informational narration on the amazing underwater world around you. Hear more tales of the high seas as on your way to see the wreck of the Balboa. The Balboa a 375 foot freighter was traveling from Cayman to Cuba when she encountered one of the worst hurricanes in the island’s history on November 10, 1932. The Seaworld Observatory then brings you back to the dock in the heart of George Town.

Submerge yourself in a magnificent underwater world aboard an Atlantis Submarine. Investigate the reef through your personal viewport and come face-to-face with masses of exotic tropical fish and other marine creatures amidst colorful coral gardens.

Your adventure begins with a short boat ride along the scenic coast to the boarding dock, where you'll transfer to the submarine to begin your undersea adventure. Atlantis operates the world's most technologically advanced passenger submarines, with spacious air-conditioned interiors, large viewports and comfortable seating.

In crystal clear waters, you will descend 100 feet to explore 25 acres of coral gardens and their inhabitants. The reef was formed on lava that flowed into the ocean 18,000 years ago. You will be met at the ship by your tour guide and driven by air-conditioned minibus to the helicopter pad just 10 minutes away from St John’s where you will be briefed on your flight before beginning your adventure. You will then board your awaiting private helicopter for a fully narrated and truly memorable Antigua tour.

This breath-taking tour ascends over Antigua's fabulous beaches and gives you a chance to see the entire circumference of Antigua, which includes over 100 miles of shoreline! Every beach, hotel, reef and historic fortification is along the route complete with live narration by the pilot.

You'll skim the crystal clear waters of the West Coast, passing Five Islands, Jolly Harbour, past Fig Tree Drive and over the extraordinary Cades Reef and past Rendezvous Bay. The super-yachts anchored at Falmouth Harbour will come into view, followed by historic English Harbour, Dow’s Hill and Shirley's Heights Lookout. The tour continues past the famous Half Moon Bay and past Green Island and Stingray City as you hug the north coast and the outlying islands. You’ll pass Bird Island, Prickly Pear Island and more beaches and fantastic scenery before passing Dickenson Bay and returning to our helipad close to St. John’s.

Your tour ends back in Antigua with a bird's eye view of your cruise ship! Once you land, re-board your minibus for the short transfer back to the pier.

It's a short transfer by boat from the cruise ship pier to the dive site, where you will discover why Bora Bora's spectacular lagoon is considered to be among the most beautiful in existence today. Your certified diving instructor will give you a safety briefing and diving instructions before helping you put on your special dive helmet. This unique underwater experience allows you to descend to a depth of up to 10 feet and walk on the ocean floor, surrounded by hundreds of colorful tropical fish and amazing coral formations. As you freely maneuver about in total security just a few feet below the surface, your head remains dry inside your helmet, and you can even wear your glasses! Unlike conventional diving or snorkeling, you are connected to your boat by an air hose that allows you to breathe just as you would on land. No swimming or diving experience is required. Masks and snorkels are available, as there might be time for snorkeling while the other guests take their underwater walk.

Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age. Tour is not recommended for guests with mobility concerns, heart conditions, asthma, pregnant women or those who suffer from claustrophobia. Guests should be in reasonably good physical condition. It will be necessary to negotiate a ladder to board the boat from the water. Only 8 persons at a time will be allowed underwater for the helmet dive. There are no changing facilities. Swimwear worn under a cover-up, sun cap, sunglasses, biodegradable sunscreen, towel and water shoes are recommended. Guests are cautioned not to touch or step on any coral for both safety and environmental reasons.

Those participating in any water activities do so at their own risk and responsibility. At the local operator's discretion you may be asked to sign a waiver. Underwater cameras and T-shirts might be available on board the boat and a film/video of your experience may also be offered for purchase directly from the boat operator. As this is an independent service, we cannot guarantee it. Guests should bring along some cash if they intend to purchase any items. less
