See Reykjavik’s highlights at your own pace by riding a double-decker bus around the capital, hopping on and off whenever you please at the attractions you find most intriguing.
After departing from the pier in a double-decker bus, you will soon arrive in the heart of Reykjavik, which the Vikings founded in the 1st century. In the Old Norse language, Reykjavik means “smoky bay,” a reference to the smoke-like geothermal steam in this area.
Your bus and several others will make continuous loops around the city, allowing you to hop off at attractions of interest. Stay for as long as you like and then simply hop on another bus whenever you’re ready. It’s a great way to linger at favorite destinations and skip others. The audio commentary on the buses will describe the upcoming attractions to make your choices from the more than a dozen stops easier.
You might hop off at the National Museum of Iceland, which displays thousands of invaluable artifacts such as medieval tools, nautical implements and embroidered wedding dresses. The Maritime Museum concentrates on Icelandic fishing and coastal cultures. For an even deeper dive into the underwater world, stop at the Whales of Iceland exhibit.
If you wish to shop, be sure to hop off at boutique-lined Laugavegur Street and at the Old Harbor, which also caters to serious shoppers. If you prefer a mall environment, stop at Kringlan, a collection of more than 150 shops under one roof.
Note: Walking on this tour is at the guests’ discretion during any stops they choose to get off the bus. It is not recommended for guests who utilize a wheelchair. Those guests with mobility concerns are cautioned to evaluate their personal level of ability and stamina. Weather appropriate clothing; sun cap; sunglasses; sunscreen; an umbrella; and flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. While the lower deck of the bus is air-conditioned, the open-top upper deck is not. The duration will vary based upon the guests’ choice of stops and time spent at each. less

Explore Honolulu’s highlights – from Pearl Harbor and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific to Hawaii’s first Christian church, and Iolani Palace and Washington Place, both former residences of the Hawaiian monarchy.
Pearl Harbor is one of Hawaii’s best-known landmarks and the scene of the devastating aerial attack by Japan that drove the U.S. into WWII. Learn more about that infamous day, and pay your respects to ship’s 1,177 crewmen who died there.
In central Honolulu stand face to face with the larger-than-life statue of King Kamehameha I, the leader who united the Hawaiian Islands into one royal kingdom. Just across the street you’ll see the Iolani Palace, residence of Hawaii's last two monarchs. European in design, it boasted Hawaii’s first electric lights, flush toilets and internal phone system. Also nearby is Kawaiahao Church, Hawaii's first Christian house of worship, built of coral slabs from the offshore reefs.
At the heart of the downtown historic district you will notice the elegant Washington Place, now a museum, and once home to Liliuokalani, Hawaii’s last queen. Drive through the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, in the extinct volcanic crater known as the Punchbowl. It is the final resting place of some 53,000 veterans who lost their lives in 20th century wars, including those who died during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Enjoy panoramic city views on your drive to the airport.
Note: This tour is only available for guests with flights after 4:00 pm. Guests are responsible for ensuring their debarkation tours are compatible with their flight departure times. Guests have the option to book their flights through our Premium Air Department to ensure that flight departure times do not interfere with debark tours.

Snacks will be available for purchase. On rare occasions the Navy may discontinue the motor launch service to the Arizona Memorial due to weather and safety concerns - a visit to the Visitors Center will still be made.

After departing from the pier, you will enjoy a leisurely drive along the Bay of Naples and on to Sorrento, a city of Renaissance palazzi and charming pedestrian lanes. A meandering walk will take you to a woodworking studio, where craftsmen will likely demonstrate the art of intarsia or wood inlay, which has long been associated with Sorrento. Free time follows, during which you might browse the museums and boutiques. Ceramic tableware, casual fashions and intarsia jewelry boxes are among the most popular items.
Then, it’s on to Pompeii, a Roman town forever known for the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius that buried it under ash and pumice in 79 A.D. After free time to explore on your own and perhaps watch artisans create cameos, you will tour the ruins. The excavations have unearthed a snapshot of life here nearly 2,000 year ago. Buildings are largely intact, frescoes adorn the villas and everyday objects are scattered about, just as they were when the volcano erupted. Expect to see ancient baths, temples and residences with intricate mosaic floors. It’s an eye-opening look into ancient life, one you will remember long after returning to Naples.
Note: This tour includes approximately 3 hours of walking/standing; there will be some inclines and cobblestone surfaces to negotiate plus any additional walking at the guests' discretion during free time. The tour is not available to wheelchair guests and is not be suitable for those with mobility concerns who are cautioned to carefully evaluate their personal level of stamina and ability.
