Discover Puerto Vallarta´s charming Downtown and Oldtown districts with the help of your friendly, bilingual guide. You´ll ride in air conditioned comfort to the center of downtown where you´ll have a chance to stroll the length of our Malecon (seawall) to see our collection of sculptures by local and international artists.

You´ll visit the main square, where your guide will take you through the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe and keep you entertained and informed along the way. Enjoy a stroll down the Cuale River Island's colorful garden pathway. Re-board the coach briefly to ride to our refreshment/restroom and shopping stop. Complimentary beverages are offered as well as free tequila tastings, as you shop or observe the local artists at work. Afterward, we'll make the short walk to Vallarta's newest attraction, Mosaic Park, which has become one of the most impressive collections of urban art, anywhere. The entire area shimmers and sparkles with Mexican themes, covering everything from the columns to the benches. We'll spend about 40 minutes there, before returning directly to the ship.

The lagoon on Harvest Caye is the perfect place to discover the fun and ease of kayaking. After a brief orientation on how to use your kayak, you’re free to explore the lagoon on a self-guided tour.

There are fewer cities more spectacularly suited for a walking tour than Victoria. This delightful two-hour excursion will commence at the cruise terminal and start out along the seawall that is lined with the well-manicured lawns and gardens of those lucky enough to live with a view of the Strait of Juan De Fuca and the Olympic Mountain Range.

Stepping away from the bustle of the cruise terminal, you will travel up towards Beacon Hill Park, which offers views of the famous Inner Harbor. From this point, you'll walk down into the heart of town which is full of shopping, restaurants, nightclubs and much more. The Inner Harbor of Victoria is a bustling and vibrant area with regular seaplane departures to the surrounding islands, street performers, local crafts and food vendors. This is also the location of the Royal BC Museum, the British Columbia Parliament Buildings and the world-famous Fairmont Empress Hotel with its façade of century-old ivy- covered walls. As you make your way through the city, your experienced local guide will share with you the inside stories and history of the area and a true insider's knowledge of all things unique to the City of Victoria.

Your guided tour concludes on the lawns of the Empress Hotel and you are encouraged to further explore Downtown on your own before heading back to the ship at your leisure. For those who don't wish to walk back, a shuttle will be available.

Soak up the views on the scenic Skyride to Paradise Point. The Skyride takes you approximately 700 feet above sea level to one of the most amazing views in the Caribbean. Enjoy a panoramic vista of the harbor, cruise ships and the hillside town of Charlotte Amalie. The round-trip Skyride ride is 15 minutes, allowing plenty of time for you to relax with a frozen drink or lunch at the top, at your own own expense. The Skyride is located directly across the street from the Havensight Mall. Come at your leisure, as the Skyride runs continuously.

Your ship’s tender takes you to the city center near the large public square where your walking tour begins. The national flag of the Maldives flies here and is one of the most photographed items in Male.

Walk by the three-story Islamic Center, Male's most renowned architectural landmark. Its Grand Friday Mosque is the biggest in the Maldives and accommodates more than 5,000 worshippers. Built from coral stone in 1656 AD, during the reign of Sultan Ibrahim Iskandhar, is home to a number of ancient tombstones erected in memory of past sultans, heroes, and nobles.

See Medhu Ziyaarath, the shrine of Abu al Barakaath Yusuf al Barbari, and Presidential Palace, or Mulee-aage, which holds official functions and accommodates visiting heads of state and other foreign dignitaries,

Follow your guide through Sultan Park and to the National Museum, formerly part of the Sultan's Palace. See many other important and historical landmarks and stop for a short visit to the colorful fish market, where your tour concludes. Afterwards, you may stay in town to explore further on your own or take the tender back to your ship.
