Visit Finca Emma, a 740 acre plantation dedicated to the production, processing and export of fresh bananas. On the way, you will enjoy the lush landscapes and hear about Nicaragua from your guide. Continue on to Hacienda San Jeronimo, a plantation of 2,000 acres dating back to the 1700s. It was famous in the colonial era for its production and worldwide export of sugar. The estate has been passed down through many generations of the Coen family since that time. Explore the garden while listening to the song of the many birds that are found here. At the farmhouse, enjoy a tasty snack.
