Discover the popular tourist town of Guadalest, an ancient military stronghold that sits perched at the top of a granite mountain. A scenic 90-minute drive takes you past picturesque villages and winding roads surrounded by spectacular landscapes. The picture-postcard site of the free-standing bell tower and the tunnel that provides access to the old center of Castell de Guadalest greet you on arrival. Both are nestled in a dramatic granite mountaintop setting that leaves a lasting impression.

Follow your guide on a walk through the quaint village streets. The old urban center is located on the top of an outcrop, which is only accessed via a tunnel hollowed into the side of the rock. The area at the top of the rock includes the bell tower, Saint Josep Castle and the recently restored Orduña House which you will visit.

The Orduña House was built after the great earthquake that demolished much of the original housing in Guadalest. One half of the house is supported by the rock while the other half occupies areas over the chapels of the adjoining church. You’ll be surprised to find a house of such greatness in this remote and rural setting. Enjoy some free time to further explore the village on your own the many shops offering a great variety of crafts.

You will also fly over photogenic Hill Inlet and Heart Reef, whose distinct heart shape is best seen from the air.

Enjoy the unique and intimate experience of real interaction while swimming with dolphins in their natural lagoon. The dolphins will join and allow gentle touching and interaction. Additionally, you get the opportunity to do specific interactions with the dolphins, and even get a dolphin kiss.

The program offers a unique blend of trained behavior and basic swimming and is perfect for people who have experience using fins. Life jackets are available and mandatory for children under the height of 1.45 m /57 inch. Since you won’t be able to use your hands while swimming, the use of fins is required. The dolphin lagoon is about 18 feet deep.

After departing from the pier in an open-air train trolley, you will soon arrive in the heart of the Royal Naval Dockyard. Known as the “Gibraltar of the West,” the dockyard played a vital role in War of 1812 and both World Wars. As you ride the trolley through the streets, the conductor will entertain you with colorful anecdotes and fascinating facts about the history and architecture of the dockyard. Along the way, you will pass the Royal Navy Cemetery, which dates back to 1812. Other points of interest include Lagoon Park, whose mangroves support a thriving population of birds, and Somerset Village, a residential area on Somerset Island that was settled centuries ago.

The tour ends back at the pier. However, as an alternative, the conductor will drop you at Clock Tower Mall to browse the shops and then you may return to the pier later on your own.

Uncover the charms of Murcia, a delightful, unspoiled city featuring a beautiful cathedral, a tranquil monastery and myriad inviting plazas. Journey for approximately one hour to Murcia through the heart of the Segura River Valley, inhaling the invigorating scent of the thriving citrus groves all around. Upon arrival, you’ll make your way to the magnificent Cathedral of Murcia, perfectly situated in grand Plaza de Belluga, and admire its ornate Baroque façade. You’ll learn that, like much of Murcia, the cathedral incorporates a variety of styles that have been successively layered since the sanctuary’s origin in the 14th century. Examine one of the best Islamic art collections in the region at the elegant Santa Clara Monastery, which was built over the remains of a Muslim temple, and relish time at your leisure to stroll around the vibrant city. During your exploration, you’ll come across many wonderful squares, such as the Plaza de Flores, or Flower Square, and Roma Square, home to a well-preserved amphitheater. Travel to the west side of Curacao on a one-of-a -kind, hand painted tropical bus. The Beach Express takes you to the other side of the island where nature reigns and the beaches are unspoiled. Enjoy the scenery as your host provides you with interesting information about Curacao. You'll pass by historic plantation houses, panoramic mountain views, salt flats and possibly wildlife and flamingos. After a fun and relaxing ride you’ll have a photo stop before arriving at local beach where you can enjoy swimming in the beautiful Caribbean waters, snorkeling or just relaxing.

Visit the Kunaram Temple, a small, unique monastery that embodies a true sense of simplicity and tranquility and make. During your visit, you’ll have an opportunity to view the body of Samui's most famous mummified monk, Loung Poh Deang, in a seated meditation position. Stop at the Big Buddha Temple, or Wat Pha Yai, which features a 36-foot golden statue perched atop a wide staircase decorated with dragons. The statue is visible from several miles away, and creates an impressive silhouette against the sea and sky behind it. Journey into Tasmania’s unique natural world as you tour an indigenous wildlife park full of indigenous animals and a tranquil garden full of rhododendrons. The experience begins with a leisurely drive inland toward Mount Dial Nature Recreation Area, traversing idyllic terrain and scattered villages where life has changed little over the centuries. Once at Wings Wildlife Park, you’ll have free time to ramble the trails as you encounter famous animals like the Tasmanian devil, and obscure ones like the bettong – tiny marsupials who hop around like mini-kangaroos. Other unfamiliar creatures who call the park home include boobook owls, crab-eating macaques, quolls and long-nosed potoroos. Even American bison and Japanese quail are on the resident list. In contrast, the feature attraction at Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden is the flora, not the fauna, although here too you might run across South Pacific oddities like platypus and echidna joining the more conventional garden dwellers such as wild ducks and grebes. It’s a beautiful setting of meandering paths dotted with water features and gazebos – and some 22,000 rhododendrons. Plenty of other flowering shrubs and bedding plants ensure a colorful visit, no matter the time of year.

Enjoy an hour at Cane Garden Bay Beach where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters or just relax on the beach. You’ll drive through little coastal villages and along the Sir Francis Drakes coastline, on your return to the ship.

The islands of Malta are home to eleven prehistoric monuments, seven of which comprise a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today you’ll visit the Temples of Tarxien and Hagar Quim and the caves of Ghar Dalam where you’ll discover Malta’s prehistoric past. A scenic drive takes you to to Tarxien where you’ll visit the Tarxien Temples. They are renowned for the detail of their carvings, which include domestic animals carved in relief, altars, and screens decorated with spiral designs and other patterns.

Head to the southern part of the island to see some of the most unique prehistoric monuments in the world, at the temple of Hagar Quim. Learn about Malta’s origins when you visit the underground caves in Ghar Dalam. Here, the first traces of life on the island date back 180,000 years. Fossilized remains of animals found here, date back to the last glacial period. Before returning to Valetta, you’ll make a short stop for photos at the colorful fishing village of Marsaxlokk.

Immerse yourself in Buddhism at Taiwan's largest Buddhist monastery, Fokuangshan, a serene mountain complex overlooking the Kaoping River. Approaching the monastery founded in 1967 by Buddhist master Shingyun, you’ll notice several giant statues of Buddha in the distance. Painstakingly built into the mountainside, Fokuanghan or Light of Buddha Mountain features an array of characteristic temples, meditation halls, gardens and exhibition halls displaying spectacular religious artifacts. Nearly 15,000 lanterns rest in the openings of the walls of the four shrines, with Tahsiungpao being the largest of the shrines.

Understand the intent of making Buddhism relevant in modern life as you tour Fokuangshan's impressive Buddhist Cultural Museum, filled with ritual instruments, beautiful calligraphy, and significant objects d' art carved out of jade, bronze and porcelain. Enjoy exploring two of the region's most charming towns - Villajoyosa, famous for fishing and chocolate, with vividly painted houses and Altea, one of the most beautiful towns of the Costa Blanca which maintains its former fishing village feeling. The old section, atop a hill, offers spectacular views and perfect photo opportunities.

A scenic drive along the coastal road takes you to Villajoyosa, a small seaside town, famous for its fishing and its’ chocolate. Still dependent on its fishing industry, each afternoon the daily catch brought in by the local fishermen is auctioned off in the port. The quaint houses that line the seafront are painted in bright rainbow colors and legend has it, that this is so the fishermen can see them from the sea. Upon arrival at the seafront, you’ll enjoy free time to explore the town on your own.

Your route to Altea takes you along the coastal road via Albir, providing wonderful views of the sweeping bays of the Costa Blanca. Altea's old town is an enchanting picture postcard scene of white-washed houses that has managed to maintain its authentic atmosphere. Follow your guide on a walk to the famous square at the summit, where you’ll find the Virgin of Consuelo Church with its iconic blue roof. After an outside visit of the church, you’ll have free time to soak up the town's ambience and enjoy the wonderful views.

Uncover Thai history with a visit to the Ancient City where you’ll find fascinating reproductions displaying authentic buildings, communities and villages throughout the grounds of the immense park. Built on a 200-acre site, the Ancient City is like an open book of Thai history that allows visitors to gain a view of the real Thailand. You’ll see the numerous reproductions of palace halls, temples, stupas, stone sanctuaries and traditional houses. You can also see several reconstructed historical buildings, authenticated communities with their daily chores and sample villages from all regions of the country. Due to the enormous size of this fascinating attraction, you’ll view most of the city from the local tram, although some stops will be made along the way for interior or close-up looks at some of the sites such as the Old Market Town, Khao Phra Vihan, Sanphet Prasart Palace, and the Floating Market.

Hike through the gorgeous tropical forest that serves as a backdrop to Magens Bay and power your own pedal boat through the turquoise waters that rim the crescent-shaped beach. As you walk along the heavily shaded natural path, you will enjoy glimpses of the beautiful bay below and pass the ruins of a former sugar plantation. The guide will describe the various forest ecosystems and whatever wildlife that you may spot. Birds are particularly prevalent and even if you don’t see them deep in the tree canopy, you will likely hear their mellifluous songs. Board your private transportation for a journey through Road Town. Drive along Ridge Road with amazing views over the north coast of the island. After a brief photo stop to view the islands of Guana, Great Camanoe and Anegada, you’ll drive westward to the Original Virgin Canopy Tour base camp. After a quick restroom break, the friendly staff will outfit you with your gear. Following a brief orientation and safety talk, you’ll arrive at the take-off point of the tour. The tour has been expertly designed for adventurers of all ages (from 5 to 95) and every stop along the way provides you with an amazing "I can't believe I just did that" photo opportunity that you will want to share with friends and loved ones.

The tour including the outfitting and safety talk and the 7 traverse and other challenge components, will take approximately 1 to 1 1/4 hours, depending on group size and other factors. One element of the tour includes a 1 1/2 story climb (21 steps) up an inclined ladder – but don’t worry, you are attached all the way. Board a safari vehicle for a scenic drive down the coast to observe thousands of breeding gannets and catch amazing views across Hawke’s Bay. This unique excursion carries you out to a dramatic promontory where the 4,500-acre private farm known as Cape Kidnappers Station borders on the world’s largest and most-accessible mainland nesting place for gannets. These handsome, quirky members of the booby family nest high on the sea cliffs and are famous for the ritualized recognition dance performed by mating partners who pair up for life. Skilled anglers, they swoop and dive for fish in the water below, preen on the rocks, and generally make themselves fascinating to watch – especially in these large numbers. To reach their remote domain, you’ll be driven across the farm’s river beds, rolling pastures, steep gullies and breathtaking inclines to within a few feet of the Cape Kidnappers sanctuary. Your guide will provide the background commentary on this habitat, and the gannets will provide the entertainment. From this cliff 328 feet up straight from the beach, you’ll also see the entire rugged sweep of the Hawke’s Bay coastline – all the way north to Mahia Peninsula. Afternoon tea will also be served.

Your tour begins with a scenic journey along Jamaica’s beautiful coastline. On arrival at Dolphin Cove Negril, you will be greeted by a hostess and offered a welcome drink. After a brief orientation, you’ll enter the world of these fascinating creatures and get to know them as you interact with them in deep water. Experience the thrill of "riding” the dolphin belly to belly. Dance, sing, play and even enjoy a kiss or two! View the stingrays in their natural lagoon. Then relax and enjoy shopping for unique souvenirs in the gift shop. After this invigorating experience you’ll be transported to the world famous Doctor’s Cave Beach located on Montego Bay’s "must see ” hip strip. This beautiful white sand beach with its crystal clear waters, temperatures averaging 78-84 degrees Fahrenheit/22- 28 degrees Celsius year round, is said to have curative powers, able to restore good health and cure several ailments. Food, drink and beach chair rentals are available at an extra cost. After this relaxing day you’ll be returned to your awaiting ship. Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 250 lbs. This tour may operate in reverse order.

After your transfer into town, travel through the city districts of Sodermalm, Gamla Stan, Norrmalm, Ostermalm, and Djurgarden. First you’ll cross Gamla Stan, the enchanting Medieval Old Town where you’ll pass the Royal Palace, which overlooks Stockholm’s inner harbor. Pass the Royal Opera, the Parliament Building and along the narrow canal at Slussen, where you’ll enter Sodermalm district. Sodermalm is the large island off Stockholm’s south side which contains a number of small, closely integrated neighborhoods. You’ll also drive west along Soder Malarstrand, where you’ll cross the Western Bridge that spans Riddarfjarden and offers views of the city skyline and City Hall. In the city center, the focal point of modern Stockholm, travel along Strandvagen to the island of Djurgarden. Here, you’ll have a chance to tour the island, which is regarded as Stockholm’s outdoor recreation center, and features attractions such as Grona Lund Tivoli, Skansen Open-Air Museum and extensive park lands beyond. Your panoramic drive also takes you through Diplomatic Town to Ostermalm, a fashionable neighborhood of stately apartment buildings.

Spend hours relaxing however you please at the Pavillion Samui Villas & Resort, a waterfront property. The resort overlooks Lamai Beach, a beautiful stretch of sand on the east coast of Ko Samui. Your journey from the second city on the north coast takes you through Jamaica’s lush countryside to the home of Jamaica’s Famous Rum, Appleton Estate. Quaint Malay Kampung (villages) are scattered all over the island.

Stop at a functioning rubber estate where you get a close-up view of rubber tapping. The rubber tapper shows you how his skillful cut makes the rubber tree bleed latex; a simple method that has been used since the late 1800s. See how the tree sap is harvested to create products such as latex gloves, tires and paint.

Stop at the Budaya Craft Cultural Complex, which celebrates Malaysia’s heritage and local talents. This craft-shopping complex offers visitors the widest range of genuine Malaysian crafts. Described as a living and growing phenomenon, the waterfall continuously regenerates itself from deposits of travertine rock, the result of precipitation of calcium carbonate from the river, as it flows over the falls. The small dome-shaped cataracts are usually associated with thermal spring activity found in limestone caves. From the pier, a scenic drive takes you to Rose Hall Great House, an outstanding relic of colonial times with a fascinating and detailed history of dark rumor and intrigue. The story of Annee Palmer, the mistress of Rose Hall Great House, is not easily forgotten! It is said that Annee Palmer had three husbands during her reign as mistress of the Rose Hall Plantation and each of them died a sudden and violent death. She gained a reputation for extreme cruelty and her nickname “White Witch of Rose Hall”. Annie was feared by the slaves who lived on and worked the plantation. She ruled with an iron fist, and defiance or even perceived insolence was answered with public whippings, torture in the dungeon, or even death.

According to local legend, Annee’s restless spirit still roams the grounds, following her untimely death at the hands of a cunning slave. Accounts of her enduring presence have been featured on the TV programs “Ghost Hunters International” and World’s Scariest Places”. Departing the Great House, pause for a while at the Shoppes at Rose Hall where you’ll have an opportunity to purchase that special souvenir to remind you of your visit to Jamaica. Crafts, exquisite gems, jewelry, watches, coffee, spices, sauces, clothing and alluring perfumes are all part of the available duty-free shopping. The tour continues to Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville by the sea, in the heart of Montego Bay’s hip strip for a cool tropical drink before arriving back at the ship.

The historic sites of Wellington are yours to discover during this scenic orientation tour of New Zealand's Capital City. Depart the pier for the drive along picturesque Oriental Bay en route to the summit of Mt. Victoria. Upon arrival, you will take in panoramic views and photo opportunities overlooking the city and harbor. You will then continue on through Lambton Quay, Wellington's bustling business and shopping district, before boarding a charming red cable car for the ride up the hill to Kelburn. From here, you will take in more sweeping views of the city below. After departing from the pier, you will soon arrive at a popular venue for a folkloric performance that will highlight the traditional songs and dances of Puerto Rico. You can expect it to be an immensely entertaining, high-energy show.

After settling into your seat, the spectacle will begin with gusto. You will instantly recognize rhythms from other parts of the world that have influenced Puerto Rican music and dance. Many of the steps and sounds originated in Cuba, Brazil, the Dominican Republic and other Latin American countries.

You may notice African beats and a passion typically associated with Spain’s flamenco. The dancers will perform the mambo, which was invented in Havana in the 1930s, and the samba, a dance style from West Africa.

You will also enjoy parts of the show dedicated to La Plena, a genre of music and dance indigenous to Puerto Rico. Tambourines are the principal instruments in La Plena, although other instruments such as congas, trombones and guitars are often played.

In this folkloric show, the featured guitarist will be Juan Carlos, an entertainer that has traveled the world playing flamenco and singing in his distinct baritone voice.

First you’ll visit the Curacao marketplace where the locals shop for food and ingredients for their home cooked meals. On the way to Fort Amsterdam, home to the Governor of Netherland Antilles, you’ll pass the beautifully colored, picture perfect merchant houses on the quay of the harbor entrance. The last part of you walk will be to cross the floating bridge that connects both sides of the city. If the bridge is open, due to ship traffic, ferries will be used instead.
