Do as you please in two of the most popular destinations on the island-the fun-loving resort town of San Antonio and the carefree beach Playa d'en Bossa. San Antonio was little more than a fishing village at the turn of this century, but it is now considered one of the finest places on Ibiza for enjoying the café life. Its restaurants and bars are so celebrated that you will be given a map showing the best ones so you can maximize your time there.

If you wish to people-watch, you may enjoy strolling the palm-lined promenade that follows the main beach. The lengthiest beach on Ibiza is Playa de'n Bossa, and it is lined with lively restaurants and bars as well. You might stretch out in the sun on a Balinese beach bed, take a refreshing swim and rent a jet-ski or stand-up paddleboard. Playa de'n Bossa is all about having a great time in the company of other beach-lovers.

Explore Dalt Vila, a historical section of town that UNESCO deemed a World Heritage site for being an exceptional example of a fortified acropolis. The Phoenicians originally settled this part of the island, but it was often invaded so the defensive walls were strengthened repeatedly until the Renaissance.

To enter this atmospheric district, you will pass through El Portal de Ses Taules, a stone gateway that an imperial coat of arms crowns. As you stroll the winding cobbled streets, you can expect to come across plazas lined with restaurants and shops and the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Snows, a magnificent Catalan Gothic building that stands near the highest point in Dalt Vila.
