Is there a refrigerator in the room for Diabetic insulin?

My husband is diabetic and insulin dependent so we must have a way to keep insulin cold during our 7 day cruise on the Bliss. We are on Deck 8 in room 8726. Thank you in advance for taking the time to answer this important question.

There are mini frig's in the cabins. However they don't get very cold. I'm not sure how cold insulin needs to be kept but you can order a refrigerator from Guest Special Needs form. Have a wonderful cruise, if you haven't already taken it.

Just adding to the previous answer... you can find some pretty good deals on spa services while the ship is in port. I always wait until a port day and schedule then -- savings of up to 50% are available on a regular basis.

What room amenities are included? Shampoo? Conditioner? Lotion? Hair dryer?

Shampoo and body wash are provided in the shower. There is hand soap near the sink. The hair dryer is in the bedroom, under the vanity and it not movable. There is a mirror there and a stool that you can sit on to style your hair. There was no outlet in the bathroom.

Is there shuffleboard, bocce court and ping pong tables on the ship?

There was a ping pong table with paddles and balls provided. It is located outside, so it was a bit windy to play. There was NOT a shuffleboard.

Is the pool heated on the Bliss?

I just finished the Alaskan cruise on April 15-22. The adult only pool is filled with salt water. The water during the first day at sea was freezing cold. By the third day, the temperature went up to match that of the kids' pool. Both pools' temperature was warm enough to swim for an hour without the risk of hypothermia. The air temperatures were only a few degrees above freezing during the entire week. With wind chill, the outdoor temperature would be at least 5-10 degrees colder. You have to keep moving in the water the entire time. There wasn't anyone lounging/sun-tanning on the pool deck nor that many swimmers but then that's mid-April in Alaska for yah.

I was able to load a Starbucks gift card onto my app and use my app at the Starbucks shop on the ship, not at the other restaurants serving Starbucks but yes at the shop.

If you explore your ship it will have a tab of "What's on Board". When you get on the ship there is a box office where you would go and book your seats.

There are no washing machines for you to use. You would need to pay per item to have items laundered.
