We board at 1:30pm can we check in, leave our luggage and go back on land for awhile?

To check-in you have to go through the security screening and one you complete the check-in process you have to board the ship. All guests must be onboard the ship at least 2 hours before the departure time. That doesn't leave you much time to explore even if you go out of the secure area.

Refrigerator's in inside cabins?

I will be in an inside cabin on the 4th floor and my son is on meds that require refrigeration. Do the inside cabins come with min refrigerators?

We have the same requirement, and ask the cabin steward upon our arrival to empty the fridge on the first day. One thing to remember - in our experience, the fridges are locked the evening before disembarkation, so be sure to REMOVE YOUR MEDS before the fridge is locked. You will be reminded of this in your Freestyle Daily the day before.

The other NCL ships that I have cruised on had a wonderful area "The Haven." I don't see anything like this on the Dawn!!

The Haven is only found on Jewel-Class ships, the Epic, and Breakaway-Class and later ships. Older ships have suites, but no Haven.

We sail out of San Juan on January 6, 2019 on the Dawn. We were told we sail at 9:00 PM. When will embarkation begin?

The check-in process usually starts at around 11 AM and they will let you board the ship around 12 noon. However, you will not be allowed into your staterooms until 2-3 PM to give the staff enough time to clean the rooms. You can have lunch on board the ship and explore the public areas of the ship.

We are staying in a mid-ship mini suite. Are we excluded from the room service fee.

No. Mini-suites are not accorded the perks that full suites get. Mini-suites are really just large balcony cabins.

What time can you board the ship

We are sailing on the Dawn out of Puerto Rico next March. The ship departs at 9:00pm. Does anyone know what time we can board the ship in Puerto Rico

Are beach towels complimentary for all?

Yes, beach towels are available in your stateroom. You can also exchange them at the pool deck for fresh towels or have your stateroom steward exchange the towels for you.

Does my cruise include free aloholic beverages for myself and free sodas for my children?

NCL does offer a promotion at the time of booking that includes unlimited alcoholic beverage but it is only for the first two guests in the stateroom and it doesn't include sodas for the kids. However, if you want to check if it is included in your cruise package, you can check your MyNCL account or call NCL. You may not have qualified for it or you may have picked some other promotional package.

Are there hair dryers in the room?

All staterooms have hair dryers. The amenities the ship's stateroom is just as in any hotel. Mini-fridge(not available in studio), phone, TV, coffee maker (not in studio,inside & ocean view staterooms), ice bucket, beach towels, mini-safe, hair dryer, liquid soap and shampoo.
