This full-day tour includes an alfresco picnic-style lunch at a Hana beach park. After lunch, guests delight in discovering Wai'anapanapa State Park, with numerous unique scenic features. Stroll on the black sand beach, photograph lava sea arches, or view beautiful lava formations. The return journey offers an optional swim to take a dip in a freshwater pool under a cascading waterfall, so bring your swimsuit underneath your clothes and a towel for - a perfect "Heavenly Hana" experience. An opportunity to swim at either Pua'a Ka'a ( waterfall ) or Waianapanapa ( black sand beach ) but not both, is offered to guests. The optional swimming opportunity is determined based on safety conditions.

You can catch a glimpse of Haleakala, Maui’s massive dormant volcano, from almost any point on the island, but you will go all the way to the top on this scenic journey – from sea level to 10,000 feet. At the summit is a vast crater seven and a half miles long by two and a half miles wide, and 3,000 feet deep. It last erupted in 1790 and has slumbered ever since, though that does not mean it won’t one day wake up. The Hawaiians revere it as a sacred site, and tell tales of Pele, Goddess of Fire and Volcanos.

The views from the top are magnificent. If the day is clear, you may even make out two other towering peaks – Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea on the Big Island. From the crater’s rim, you'll be able to appreciate first hand the unique beauty of this imposing caldera with its interesting mix of volcanic rock and plant life, some of which, like the silversword plant, is found only in Hawaii's volcanic craters.

Discover the natural beauty and quirkiness of the island’s North Shore through vastly different and revealing experiences. While browsing the boutiques in the former sugar plantation town of Pa’ia, you will get a genuine sense of its laid-back, bohemian ambiance. The shops tend to be colorful, somewhat eclectic and full of merchandise that you won’t find elsewhere as it is often made locally. A leisurely one-mile walk through a nearby rainforest will bring you to two waterfalls, one of them is Twin Falls, a gorgeous cascade that plummets into a serene pool where you may swim if you wish. The setting couldn’t be more relaxing or picturesque. The beauty of Ho’okipa Beach Park is equally captivating, especially the scene offshore as this is a premier spot for surfing and windsurfing because the waves are well-formed and sometimes reach heights of 30 feet. The beach is also one of the best places to see green sea turtles.

With a short journey through the center of the Valley Isle, which offers you all the more time to enjoy the generous beach activities (not including pool & hot tub areas) and oceanfront views. You might stretch out on a Tommy Bahama® lounge chair and bask in the sun, stroll along the crescent-shaped coast without a care in the world and take a refreshing swim in the typically calm sea. The ocean bottom at Wailea drops off gently, encouraging those who wish to do nothing more than wade into the water while it gently laps the shore. Discover the inspiring natural wonders along the coast of westernmost Maui and spend free time shopping at a beachside mall. The mountainous West Maui Forest Reserve covers much of this part of the island and the views of its pristine wilderness will be spectacular as you travel along the coast. While pausing at the Nakalele Blowhole, you will see seawater spewing high into the air after being forced through an underwater lava shelf. The sight never fails to amaze, nor does the view from the bluffs overlooking Honolua Bay, where you may spot surfers riding the oversized waves. World champion surfer Zane Schweitzer lives nearby and over lunch on DT Fleming Beach you will learn about his program to help youth affected by the devastating Lahaina wildfire in 2023. Afterwards, you will browse Whalers Village on idyllic Ka’anapali Beach, an outdoor shopping mall with more than 90 stores and one-of-a-kind boutiques. Kahakukahi Ocean Academy (KOA), which is a non-profit organization started by lifelong west Maui resident and world champion surfer, Zane Schweitzer. KOA is a free program for youth affected by the Lahaina wildfires that focuses on fostering positive mental health via a passion and appreciation for ocean activities, as well as an understanding of the importance of sustainability. A portion of the proceeds from this tour goes to support this program and it's participants.

You’ll visit a local gallery displaying a wide array of works by Hawai’i’s most renowned artists, and the studio and shop of one of Maui’s foremost artisans. Enjoy a relaxing, sit-down lunch at a charming café before heading to Ho’olawa Valley, where Maui’s artists often visit for inspiration. You’ll soon understand why when you take a guided nature walk with a leading naturalist. Your destination is an idyllic waterfall overlook in the rainforest. Along the way you’ll learn about the valley’s indigenous flora and fauna. To complement the experience, you’ll enjoy a sampling of fruits and vegetables important in native Hawaiian culture. The last stop is the lovely Ho’okipa scenic lookout, where some of the best waves in Hawai‘i, and frequently green Hawaiian sea turtles (honu), are found. This tour is available for prebooking’s only. Soar high above the gorgeous northern shore of Maui in a helicopter and land in a rainforest for a closer look at the tropical landscape. You will fly over thundering waterfalls, the famed windsurfing setting at Ho’okipa Beach, and the mega-surf break at Pe’ahi, a spot with such monstrous swells that it is nicknamed “Jaws.” Many of the locations are so remote that they can only be observed from the air, as there are no roads, only dense jungle and precipitous cliffs. One such site is Keopuka Rock, a steep sliver of an island known as Jurassic Rock because it was featured in the opening sequence of the movie “Jurassic Park.” In time, you will land in a rainforest clearing and toast the experience with a glass of champagne. The landscape there is blanketed with banana trees, papayas, pineapples and lilkoi, a colorful passion flower that grows on a vine.
