Join a hands-on cooking class at a modern museum and dine on your culinary creations for lunch. As an introduction to the types of spices and produce found in this part of Morocco, you will first visit Souk El Had, a massive marketplace that offers every imaginable ingredient essential to Moroccan cuisine. You will next stop at the Targent Museum, which is dedicated to the endemic argan tree and the women that traditionally produce its prized oil. Although the oil can be consumed – the flavor is distinctly nutty – it is more readily used in cosmetics as it is a superior moisturizer. During class, the chef will show you how to prepare tagine, a slow-cooked stew that contains many of the ingredients displayed in the souk. The stew is typically cooked in a clay pot with a cone-shaped lid that is also called a tagine. As you will discover, the dish is wonderfully flavorful.

Travel through some of the most naturally beautiful and bio-diverse areas south of Agadir on a rousing adventure in a 4x4 Jeep. Upon reaching Tifnit, the guide will explain why this former fishing village was completely bulldozed in late 2023 to create a more sustainable community within the Souss Massa National Park. As you will see firsthand, this protected parkland features pristine golden beaches and the Massa River, a natural haven for birds such as flamingoes, which can be seen wading in the shallows. The park is equally renowned for its sand dunes, especially the ones that you will traverse at Sidi Rbat and Rasmouka. A traditional lunch follows at an authentic Berber village in the Anti-Atlas Mountains, after which you will stop at the Youssef Ben Tachfrin Dam at the base of the mountains. Besides providing essential drinking water, the dam irrigates the vast and now fertile Chtouka Plain.
