Along the way, enjoy spectacular scenery and photo opportunities before visiting a traditional Mopan Maya cultural home. Here, you'll gain insight into the customs and daily life of one of Belize’s Indigenous communities through hands-on tortilla making, a tasting of traditional cacao, and warm local hospitality. Complete your experience with time to browse handcrafted souvenirs before returning to Harvest Caye.

Need to Know:

Note: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and weigh no more than 275 lbs. This excursion includes a tender ride between Harvest Caye and the mainland. Guests should be comfortable riding over rugged off-road terrain, which may be bumpy and dusty depending on weather conditions. The return to Malacate Pier includes approximately a 10-minute walk before boarding the tender back to Harvest Caye. Restroom facilities are available during the cultural visit. The order of activities may vary due to operational or weather conditions.
