OVERVIEW

Hop aboard a festive trolley after stepping off your ship at Ward Cove for a scenic journey through Ketchikan. Your guide will share stories of the city’s vibrant history, from its logging and fishing roots to its rich Alaska Native culture and totem pole collections. Stop at the Southeast Alaska Discovery Center for 30 minutes to explore interactive exhibits, learn about the region’s diverse wildlife and ecosystems, and gain a deeper understanding of the natural and cultural heritage of Alaska. After your visit, guests can either stay in downtown to explore on their own and return on the free Ward Cove shuttle, or reboard the trolley for a narrated, picturesque drive back to your cruise ship, taking in the sights and scenery that make Ketchikan so unforgettable.

Note: The trolley is a specialty vehicle which can accommodate a wheelchair. However, the trolley cannot transport or store scooters or oversized strollers. This tour includes approximately to 0.5 miles of walking and some extended periods of standing. Guests with low mobility should take this into consideration.
