Chester & Llangollen

OVERVIEW

Cross into the Welsh countryside for a delightful exploration of Llangollen, then return to England for an afternoon in Chester, laden with must-see architectural treasures. From Liverpool pier, you’ll enjoy a wonderfully picturesque drive south through the Merseyside Tunnel and into Wales. Transiting historic towns and across winding Horseshoe Pass, you’ll arrive in Llangollen – known for its annual folk festival as well as its 14th-century stone bridge spanning the River Dee.
