OVERVIEW

Experience the local Polynesian culture firsthand by participating in traditional activities and enjoy free time relaxing on a wide stretch of beach. The venue for this cultural immersion will be Vaiana’s Bistro & Bar, a casual setting on a crystal-clear lagoon. The rhythmic sound of Polynesian drums will welcome you and set the stage for the hands-on fun that follows. Feel free to join whatever activities look most appealing. You might learn the art of tying a wrap-around sarong known as a pareu, make a lei with fragrant flowers, discover the easiest way to husk a coconut, try your hand at playing a ukulele and practice a few basic hula steps. What you do will be entirely up to you. The same holds true for your time at the beach. Although you can just bask in the sun, a refreshing swim in the sea will be hard to resist before or after lunch.
