Caves, Mangroves & Beach Escape

OVERVIEW

You will depart from the ship for a speedboat ride to Los Haitises National, known for its more unique land formations in the Caribbean. During the journey you’ll stop by a site called “Mouth of the Shark” which is an enormous cave that emerges from the sea and looks similar to the mouth of a giant shark similar to the original ‘Jaws’ movie poster. Then, we move on to Bird Cay which is famous for the large number of species of birds which call this island home. Our tour continues to the beautiful and mysterious La Arena & La Linea caves. You will experience a firsthand look at why this is the largest mangrove forest in the Caribbean and ancient Taino pictographs along its walls. After you will board the boat to Cayo Levantado Island to relax and enjoy lunch on the beach. Afterwards you will rejoin with your tour guide to board the boat back to the ship.
