OVERVIEW

Join a hands-on culinary workshop and learn to make authentic Mexican dishes for your lunch, after which you will enjoy full access to the Kuza Beach & Adventure Park. The class will be held in one of the park’s thatched-roof restaurant palapas right on the beach, so you will enjoy spectacular views while preparing the main entrée – tacos al pastor. This popular street food typically consists of marinated pork grilled on a vertical rotisserie, thinly sliced and placed in a tortilla with pineapple, salsa, onions and cilantro. Culinary instructors will show you how to prepare the dish step by step, along with guacamole. Aquas frescas fruit drinks will be served as an accompaniment. After dining, you will enjoy full access to the amenities at the park. You could stretch out in the sun on a lounge chair and swim in the cool waters of the sea. You might also enjoy water sports or excursions to the nearby marine sanctuary for an additional fee.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Dress in weather-appropriate clothing with a swimsuit underneath.
• Bring a towel and Reef-safe sunscreen.
• Wear flat comfortable walking shoes. Water shoes are recommended.

Note: Beach club amenities include full access to the beach area and the activities program by the beach. Access to beach chairs is available on a first come, first served basis. Tour is sensitive to weather conditions. Beach water clarity can vary throughout the year. Seaweed presence may be expected due to seasonal changes. When doing Watersports and entering the Marine Park, a $7-dollar fee is charged by the Cozumel Marine Park Authority, to protect and conserve the reefs. Bring towel from the ship. The use of Reef-safe Sunscreen is strongly encouraged. All minors (under the age of 18) must be accompanied by an adult.
